The winter is now approaching which means that the weather is going to get cold and wet. However landscapers are a tough breed and you can bet your last pound that they will be working all the way through the winter laying different types of natural stone paving. One job which can become very difficult in the winter months is the sealing of sawn sandstone. In order for natural stone to be sealed it is absolutely essential that the stone is bone dry. Its quite possible that any stone laid at this time of year will not be properly bone dry until the spring. So if you are planning to install sawn paving at this time of year there are two choices. One is seal the paving in the garage prior to installation and the second is dont seal the paving until spring.
