Company profile
London Stone was incorporated in December 2005. All the London stone directors come from a hard landscaping background. It was while working in the hard landscaping industry that they identified a niche in the London Market for selling competitively priced, high quality natural stone exterior flooring. They also identified the need for a company that could offer the level of speed and service which the City of London and the South of England in general demands.
The business has grown rapidly since then and London Stone are now supplying natural stone paving, tiles and accessories all across the UK.
London Stone have established a reputation for supplying competitively priced, high quality stone and providing unprecedented levels of customer service and after care.
Our purpose built head office is based just moments from Junction 14 of the M25 which is a major transport hub of the UK, meaning that we are ideally situated to supply clients across London, the South East and the UK.
London Stone is an active member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI). We are committed to trading relationships which are ethical and commercially viable. We are also committed to reducing the impacts of our activities on the environment in which we operate.

- Reduce the carbon footprint of the entire scope of our business operations. Furthermore endeavoring to do this along the whole length of the supply chain from source to end user.

- All paper waste is recycled locally on Horton Rd 500 yards from our depot.
- We are committed to operating a virtual office. In August 2009 we introduced a new computer system which allows us to send all invoices electronically. This drastically reduced the amount of paper and ink we use in our office as well as saves electricity while printing. It also cuts down on envelopes & stamps and minimises our reliance on the carbon heavy postal system. We will also be encouraging our staff to use word processer note pads to further reduce our paper usage.
- By Jan 2011 we intend for all of delivery notes to be computerized Electronic signatures. This again will reduce the amount of paper, ink and electricity used by our office.
- We will be also requesting for all of our suppliers to send invoices electronically. This will save paper in the form of envelopes and stamps, and reduce wasteful transportation.
- 3.5 ton fleet of delivery vehicles are updated on a three yearly basis. This means that we are always using the most fuel efficient and low carbon vehicles as possible.
- • By Jan 2012 to update the large delivery trucks on a three yearly basis
